Power Measurement for Motor Load ControlMODELS: LC-PH-3A, LC-PH-3A-R, LC-PH1A-R, LC-PH-1000, LC-PH1000-DC Power cell transducers which are motor load controls designed specifically as power sensors for the monitoring and control of process applications involving electric motors. The control of many process machines such as grinders, mills, mixers, rollers, pumps, compressors etc may be improved by sensing power with these power transducers instead of current. The power cell transducer series is a unique range of power sensors that now makes this possible. The versatile power cell transducer works on the output of both fixed frequency and variable frequency drives and gives you an analogue signal (0-5 volts, 0-10 volts, 4-20 mA) proportional to power. Since you are sensing power rather than just current with the power cell transducer, you get good sensitivity especially at lower loads. Its sensitivity and fast response make it ideal for machine and process monitoring. Single phase AC, three phase AC and DC models of these power sensors are available to monitor motors up to 1000A.. Installation is simple with this unique power transducer since you don't need to wrestle with external voltage and current transformers. This also saves on installation costs. If you require set points and relay control outputs, we can supply suitable options. In addition, power performance graphs can be drawn using a portable data logger and a P C to analyse your process and ensure consistent results and end point detection. A number of digital process indicators are available to monitor the output of the power cell transducer allowing accurate monitoring of motor load signal (0-100%), instantaneous true power (KW) or accumulated true power ( KWH).
